[ 005 : action/this is too wtf to subject to the main comm ] fridge habits die hard
[ So, during the Kraken attack, the Persona 4 house's kitchen got busted. Again. Which of course means that Souji has to make arrangements to fix it. Again. (For those who bet that the second time would be another cooking accident, pay up now, suckers!)
With said arrangements partly done by midafternoon, Souji's ordered a small and sort of late lunch from one of the locals. It was a new dish, he remembers them saying. And Souji was never averse to a new dish (except when made by lethal chefs, but that's a while different matter, thank you very much), so he gladly decided to be one of the first (unbeknownst to him, he in fact is actually the first) to try it out.
Said dish is an odd shade of green and looks...oddly familiar to basically anyone who's been in Vatheon for the past week. Slightly offsetting it is some strategically placed rice and vegetables... But there's still a rather odd smell wafting from the plate. Nothing poisonous, no, but anyone with actual taste buds would agree that it's definitely not the most appetizing smell in the world.
Souji seems to pay no heed to the implications though, and starts to dig in with a large bite.
One moment later, he collapses, falling off his chair in a surprisingly overdramatic manner, complete with fork twirling in the air before clattering to the ground next to his OHKO'd body.
Welp. Ladies and gentlemen, the Leader of the Inaba Investigation Team. ]

There's a moment of pain before some semblance of consciousness hits him. ]

It's about time. You shouldn't worry people like that...!

[ Blink, blink. Give him a moment to process all that. He's rather dazed at the moment. ]
...Yukari-san, why are you here?
action;
[She looks rather casual about it, if a little relieved.]
You don't remember passing out?

[ And more importantly... ]
In public?

[She's not even going to surgarcoat it, nope.]
What made you think it was a good idea to eat that stuff anyway?
[Ugh! That shade of green...]

I was hoping it'd turn out to be tasty?

[Hmpth. Frown and headtilt...]
But I'm glad you're okay.

I think I'll live. More seriously, I'll be fine by tomorrow. I know from personal experience.

[She repeats, a little amused by how specific he is about this. At least in regards to the time frame...]

Yosuke did mention you make a habit out of eating some strage stuff.

Well, yeah, he's right. I tend to eat whatever's placed in the fridge.

[She does notice how embarrassed he looks, though...so gently, she'll change the subject.]
Heh. Are you at least heading home now? I'd better go with you to make sure you don't collapse again...
